Costs and Contributions

Turadh is a non-profit social enterprise. We're extending an invitation, not selling a product, and we ask each guest to contribute what they're able to based on their circumstances.

This model works if everyone contributes what they can. Those with more financial means are invited to pay a bit extra so that those with less can still access the same beautiful experience. It's an economy of solidarity.

If you can pay more than the suggested rate, please do—every extra pound helps support someone else to stay. If you can only manage the lower end of the scale, we understand. Everyone gets the same experience regardless of contribution.

Last year Turadh made a loss. To keep our service viable, we need everyone to think carefully what they can offer. Your honesty and generosity—whatever that looks like for you—is what makes this work.

Payment Terms
Once the dates for your booking are agreed, you will have 14 days to make the agreed contribution and pay your damage deposit. For last-minute bookings, the payment time may be reduced. If we have not received your contribution by the agreed date, we will not chase you but the dates we were holding for you will automatically be released to meet the demands of our long waiting list. If you have any concerns about managing this payment schedule please let us know and we will work with you to agree a workable payment schedule.
